Festive Feather Pillow

I was noticing that the throw pillows on my bed were looking a little plain, so I hit the web to find ideas on how to fix them up a little.  I thought maybe I could trim the edges of my square trow pillows with some sort of feather boa, but that idea might be too much for the minimalist design of my bedroom. Instead I thought maybe I could use ribbon and maybe just a few feathers.

What you will need:

-square, decorative throw pillow

-silk ribbons (number of colors and size depends on pillow size)

-(1-4) feathers, I chose peacock feathers

-a simple broach or rhinestones

-craft glue or hot glue gun

Wrap the ribbon vertically once around the pillow, glue in the back. (If you choose to have more than one ribbon color then, add the next color close to the first one.)

Glue peacock feathers on ribbon near the middle of the pillow.

Cover glue spots with broach or rhinestones
