DIY Real feather Garland

This is a great idea that would be perfect for baby showers, bridal showers, birthdays, even weddings! This feather garland tutorial will teach you how to make this fabulous decoration idea… you can hang the garland, or put it on the back of the guest of honor’s chair!

You will need-

Clear fishing wire

scissors

a small needle

Lots of craft feathers!

(try guinea feathers, goose feathers, or duck feathers)

Start by measuring the and trimming your fishing wire to the desired length. Thread the needle on one end, tie a double knot on the other. Stick the needle through the thickest area of the spine/quill. Tie a knot after that feather, and continue with the next, threading then knots. It’s okay if you leave space between the feathers, this will give them the illusion that they are floating!
